L’utilisation des lampes solaires chez les femmes entrepreneurs
La femme, au Cameroun, constitue une couche vulnérable, de par les activités socio-économiques qui l’exposent à tout vent. Elles sont commerçantes (petit commerce, "bayam-sellam"), cultivatrices ou femmes foyers et se lèvent très tôt pour mener leurs activités. Elles ont donc toujours besoin d’énergie pour faire avancer leur business.
En reconnaissance à la valeur de la femme au Cameroun, La fondation Schneider, Schneider Electric, le Centre pour la Communication et le Développement durable au Cameroun (CECOSDA) et l’ADEME se mettent ensemble pour dire oui à l’utilisation des lampes solaires comme alternatives à l’énergie électrique au Cameroun.
La lampe solaire peut être utilisée pour éclairer une activité commerciale : cas des vendeuses de beignets, femmes qui font les grillades…
La lampe solaire Schneider Electric peut être utilisée par les cultivatrices qui vont au champ de très bonne heure (4h – 5h) pour éclairer le trajet ;

La lampe solaire permet d’accroître l’économie des femmes entrepreneurs.cette -a dire 1000 petit commerce.

The use of solar lamps among women entrepreneurs
The solar lamp draws its energy essentially from daylight. Faced with the limitations of the electricity network in Cameroon, solar lamps are increasingly becoming an alternative that does not only improves the social living conditions of the population, but also improves the conditions of income generation in the families.The project of distribution of Mobiya solar lamps by CECOSDA Cameroon aims to facilitate the economic activities of the informal sector developed by women: seamstresses, hairdressers, braziers, restaurateurs, call-boxers, teachers, nurses and other traders. Their activities can continue within late hours thanks to the solar lamps. It allows to sell more, to increase productivity and to have even more income
Women in Cameroon are vulnerable because of their socio-economic activities which exposes them to all kinds of winds. They are traders (petty trade, "bayam-sellam"), farmers or housewives and get up very early to carry out their activities. They therefore always need energy to keep their business going.
In recognition of the value of women in Cameroon, the Schneider Foundation, Schneider Electric, the Centre for Communication and Sustainable Development in Cameroon (CECOSDA) and ADEME are joining forces to say yes to the use of solar lamps as an alternative to electric energy in Cameroon.
