Our priority strategies

 In order to efficiently contribute to sustainable development in Cameroon, CECOSDA uses 5 key strategies.

• Communication for Development (C4D), Information, education and communication (IEC), Behavior change communication (BCC). 
• Training/Capacity building.
•  Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Partnership and Advocacy.
• Research and Publications.

Our Vision

The establishment of the Centre for Communication and Sustainable Development for All (CECOSDA) is part of an overall vision for sustainable solutions towards current and future development challenges. Communicating for sustainable development and increasing awareness about the environment and other international development issues can encourage citizens to reconsider their thoughts and decision making in the context of sustainable development. Although sustainable development naturally concerns protection of the environment and natural resources, it is also linked to peace, human rights, education, equality, health, culture and nutrition. It is therefore an opportunity to bring solutions and contributions to the table to ensure success; and CECOSDA positions itself in that perspective.

Impact zone

CECOSDA operates mainly in Cameroon. Currently, CECOSDA permanently carries field work in three regions: the Centre, Adamawa and Far-North. The Adamawa and Far-North regions are located in the northern part of the country, where we have focal points working with a group of volunteer.

On a temporary basis CECOSDA works in other areas of Cameroon (South, West, Littoral and East regions). Considering the interest of the activities to be carried out and the needs of local communities, focal points are recruited in the various regions.
